Taqueria Los Perez Laurel: Authentic Mexican Cuisine in Laurel, MD

Mexican restaurant and everybody in here is Mexican! This means the food MUST BE GOOD! This is a small family owned, authentic Mexican cuisine restaurant. The staff are friendly, professional and accommodating for those of us who are unfamiliar with Mexican food. Food was delicious. They prepare it once you order. None of the food is just sitting out under heat lamps or microwaved. Taste is that of homemade recipes. That’s what I enjoy. I don’t want a franchise, mass manufactured and packaged meal. I want fresh, tasty with a personal touch to it. That’s what makes this place special. You can order with confidence.

Great place for delicious food. Clean restaurant and excellent service. Went with the family and it was the best choice for tacos (chicken, asada and birria) and the esquite (elote in a cup) was delicious. The drinks were good, we tried the orchata and tamarindo.

The asada tacos and quesadilla is my usual go to! It’s sooo delicious and well seasoned. I’ve been to other locations in riverdale and the Laurel location always gets the flavor right. The tres leches is sooo delicious as well!

My first time trying the Pizza Birria and it was everything that I was hoping for, good size and awesome flavors and let me tell you, without a doubt it delivered. A few slices of just a little fat but the flavor and texture was still BUSSIN ! I will definitely be back for more and I highly recommend trying

Taqueria Los Perez is a fantastic Mexican food spot. The birria pizza served with consommé was absolutely worth it. It can serve 2-3 people so come hungry! The atmosphere is wonderful with culturally significant decorations. Food arrived quickly and staff extremely friendly. A+++!

I'm so glad I found this place online while looking for lunch! The food here is amazing, the prices are very reasonable, and you receive good portion sizes for the price! The staff here are also very nice and answers any questions you may have. I ordered the birria tacos with cheese on top, a side of rice and beans, and the Jamaica drink. Everything was so good and I didn't have to wait long to receive my food. I highly recommend dining here!

We ordered a Birria Pizza Togo and I’m not lying when I say this was THE best birria pizza I’ve ever had in this area. It was my first time trying them since moving out here and wow. This will definitely be my go to place for Mexican food. The presentation was amazing portions were great and the flavor was amazing I can’t wait to go back and try more from their menu. 10/10 recommend

This is one of the best Authentic, traditional, taco places in Laurel. Worth the trip , everything is perfectly prepared.They also allow you modify I requested NO cilantro , I know that is like saying no cheese in the Mac N cheese but I’m allergic so to have that option and be accommodated without issues and it still taste amazing is a plus ! This family owned restaurant knows how to deliver.Desserts and drinks are amazing as well with a huge variety !Very customer friendly the rice and beans delicious too . The lengua cooked to perfection! Price point is fair . Always will eat here again when we’re in the vicinity.
